Dwell: fog or sunlight?

I took these two pictures in the span of a month in my home - the first one was on a foggy morning when sight was cloudy within a few feet of me. The second photo was on a warm afternoon, when the sun was leaving town dropping a shadow of those once foggy trees on my rosemist walls.
