Food: best baked brussel sprouts

I have been experimenting to find the best recipe for making brussel sprouts. And this by far has won with flying colors! Also there can not be anything easier than this. I have also used a medley of potatoes along with the brussel sprouts. Which means that you can add your favorite vegetable to go with it. But the potatoes do compliment the brussel sprouts well. It takes less than 5 minutes to prepare the dish and about an hour to bake it. The oven does all the work for you while you prepare the main course! Have I mentioned how beautiful the dish looks!



Few simple ingredients, 
10/15 brussel sprouts :: 2 yellow potatoes :: 2 sweet potatoes
olive oil+salt+fresh pepper+few slices of butter+lime juice

And thats it! Cut the brussel sprouts in half even if they are small. This way it will cook thoroughly and will also catch some nice color. Cut the potatoes to match the size of the brussel sprouts. I cut the sweet potatoes in thick round slices, just so I could tell them apart. These sweet potatoes look exactly like regular potatoes and don't have a reddish hue. I bought them at an Indian grocery store and they were super sweet which went so well with the brussel sprouts, that I was actually amazed! Except for the butter and the lime juice mix everything well with the vegetables. Sprinkle the slices of butter on top. Place it in the oven at 350 for an hour. Squeeze the lemon juice on top once it is done and out of the oven. Bon appétit!
