Food: noodles

This is a chicken with mixed vegetable and eggs noodle recipe. I personally think that the most time consuming part of this recipe is the chopping of all the vegetables. I like to chop vegetables so I enjoy that part.

So this is what I gathered,
1 packet Chinese noodles :: 1 cup ground chicken :: 1 tsp grated garlic :: 1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp red chili powder :: salt :: pepper :: pinch of sugar :: olive oil :: 1 cup sliced onions
1 cup broccoli florets :: 1 cup cauliflower florets :: 1 cup French cut beans
1 cup chopped cabbage :: 1 cup sliced mushrooms :: 2 eggs

Start by chopping up all the vegetables into small pieces. Slice the mushrooms.

Next cut the broccoli into small florets.

Then the cauliflower.

I sliced the beans in French style.

Then I chopped up the red cabbage.

Heat oil in a wok and cook the onions. At the same time boil water with some oil and salt in a pot for the noodles to cook.

When the onions are translucent, toss in the ginger and garlic.

Now mix in the ground chicken and fry for a few minutes.

Don't forget to add salt and the red chili powder.

Now one by one toss in the vegetables. I start with the vegetable that will take longer to soften. So I start with the red cabbage.

Then I toss in the beans.

Then the cauliflower.

And the brocoli.

The mushrooms go at the end. At this time also toss in the pinch of sugar.

Toss in the noodles straight from the boiling water into the wok and keep stirring to mix everything together. This is when all the vegetables are softened but crispy. The temperature can be lowered to medium low for tossing the noodles.

Scramble the two eggs in a separate frying pan and add it into the noodles at the end. The pepper should be added at this time to preserve the flavor. Enjoy with some hot sauce.
