Architecture: calatrava dallas

More popularly known as the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge is designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. His incredible style in bridge design in fact bridges the infamous gap between structural engineers and architects. The bridge rises 400 ft above the Trinity River. There are 58 cables that tie the huge arch down to the body of the bridge. There is a footbridge running parallel to the actual bridge that connects to Trinity Groves. The bridge is most spectacular once you step on it and look up.
