Dwell: pure white chive flowers

Until this actually budded in my round herb planter, I never knew that chives bloom into such beautiful white flowers. At first they form into these buds where the seeds are wrapped in a thin white fragile petal layer. You can see it in the image below. Then this thin petal starts to tear on one side revealing the same family of buds but even smaller [like you see in the first image]. Then these tine buds open up to form these tiny five petaled flowers such as in the third image. The flowers even have a beautiful aroma. 

These chive flowers stay in bloom for almost a month!
