DIY: revived mirror updated

Remember this post where I refinished this beautiful scroll mirror in blue and white? Well, I hated the update so I did another finish. And I love it! I painted it all over again with a bright bright red and detailed it with gold. 

This is how it looked like before.

I added several coats of the new color since there were so many nooks and crannies of the scroll that I had to cover. 

This is after the color update and before the gold detail.

I detailed only parts of the scroll with gold, not everything.

I used my amazing gold paint pen by Sharpie to do this.

I basically wanted it to seem like it is wrapped in thin gold lace. And I think I have achieved that.
