DIY: updated copper candle sconce

This piece was already in good shape - so all I had to do was give the copper a fresh new look. And I did this by brushing gold acrylic directly over the copper. 

I had to apply several coats to achieve the shade of gold that I was looking for. This technique seemed very effective for giving such metals an updated look!
